Darphin Lumière Essentielle Serum £56:
Marine Extracts to rejuvenate dull complexions
Enriched with micro-encapsulated Cedarwood and Ginger Essential Oils, the serum absorbs quickly to deliver hydration.
(Serums normally always cost more than moisturisers because they penetrate deeper down to the dermis of the skin so are more affective, where as a cream only moisturises the top layers of the skin) I can really feel this has made a difference to my skin.

moisturise with Eve Lom TLC cream £55:
This cream is made with glycerine, which is used to hydrate and condition the skin. It also contains beeswax, which helps form a protective barrier to the skin and give it a more of an even texture. Euphrasia extract and arnica help to reduce puffiness, soothe and tone, while calendula works to calm sensitivity and tone down redness.
• Intensely hydrates
• Conditioning effect
• Reduces puffiness and redness
• Lowers skin’s sensitivity
• Suitable for extremely dry skin
• Can be used on all skin types
I alternate between different moisturisers but I love this one, it’s very thick so works best applied over oil. Definitely a cream that would only work for people with severe dryness.
A photo of my skin after my routine:
For me investing in skin care is so important. I used to have rosacea which if you don’t know, it’s basically extremely dry red cheeks. However, since learning and investing time and money into my skin care I know longer have that issue! Which has also meant that I no longer where foundation, just tinted moisturiser 😊
